Message that a core has to be rebuildable for the core charge to be refunded. It's a very common practice. However, I cannot say if this was clearly spelled out on Z1's site or if they clearly stated this policy when you placed your order for the transmission. If either of those were not done, then that's a failure on Z1's part to properly inform their customers of the core charge policy.
